Ports for batch application ᆞ The ports and nozzels are designed for batch purpose. It is usally more than two types of reatants charging into the kettle for batch reaction. Together with the required ports with perticular functions , like the temeprature monitoring, pressure metering, stirring, and manhole for maintaining, the ports number is usually more than six. ᆞ Flange are supplied in pairs. The flanges using for this reactor is RF and FM types, these types support the high sealing performance. It is because the chemical for reaction of this reactor is of medium toxic, so none of the leakage is allowed during the operation process. Cost saving Wise choosing of material ᆞ We use the S316L clad carbon steel sheet instead of the pure S316L as the kettle main material. It would save at least 30% of the material cost. ᆞ Besides, the welding cost related with carbon steel is also cheaper than using pure S316L. Intelligent controller The application of this controller could avoid the uncessary ernergy cost of strirring and heating. |
Large batch size: ᆞ The diameter of kettle body is 2.6 meters, cylinder height is 3.2meters, plusing the depths of top head and bottom head, is 4.7 meters. ᆞ For maintaining purpose, a manhole with size of DN500 is welded on its head. So, the operator could get into the reactor's kettle for maintains and cleaning. ᆞ The chamical reactant is Al2O3, that is in solid phases. So, a large diameter of anchor frame stirring blade is applied for it. The volume of the reactor kettle is so big that only one strirring blade is not enough for the sufficient mixing, so we added one more inclined paddle at the middle of the stirring shaft. ᆞ A large torque is required by the large stirrer and big volume, and it results a needing of the large motor power. ᆞ The kettle style is close type, which is a very commen for batch reactors. |

Parts for temperature adjustment Carbon steel jacket ᆞ Jacket wall's thickness is 12mm, which could withstand the weight upto 10 tons. ᆞ The heating medium is thermal oil, so the carbon steel could be used for this equipment. ᆞ There are four ports opened on the jacket- Inlet /outlet ports for the thermal oil, drain port, and a vent port. The inlet/outlet ports will connect to the constant thermal oil circulation heating tank. And the other two ports could help the releasing of extral pressure caused by the hot oil to jacket wall. Inner cooling coils ᆞ The coils are mounted inside the kettle, so they're made from the S316L to prevent the corrosion caused by the chemicals. ᆞ The inlet/outlet port of the coils are opened on the reactor's head, and the nozzles are welded with S304 flanges. The cooling water will be inject through the inlet port of the coils, cooling the chemicals when the process is required. The number of coils is caculated as per the heating exchanging area required. The temperature monitoring parts ᆞ The thermalmeter is assembled inside the temperature well, which is also made from S316L, because it need to dip into the chemical solution. ᆞ The length of the thermowell tube is depends on the temperature monitoring position. |
