Components for high pressure requirement. Kettle material: Titanium lined carbon steel The reaction medium has a high corrosion, so the titanium is applied instead of the stainless steel. The design pressure is 18MPa, so the titanium lined carbon steel is a ecnomical choice for this reactor. Main flange: It's specification is choosen as per parameters listed in the steel flange standards accordingly to the pressure. So it is for the reactor head's flange. And the inner surface of the flange is surfacing welding with titanium to contact the medium. |
Magnetic shaft sleeve sealing: The stirrer's shaft sleeve coupler is magnetic, this is the reason why we also called it magnetic stirrer. This coupler has the best sealing performance among the packing sealing types and mechanical sealing type. The sleeve sealing housing is made from high strengh matel because of its small thickness. For this application, the Hastelloy plate is applied, because the its stength is 3 to 4 times of the steel. Pressure monitoring instruments: Pressue gauge: The gauge choosen is as per the design temperature and pressure too. Pressure transducer: It would transfer the pressure into electric signal, so the PID controller could show the pressure value and controll the pressure accordingly. Upward dischage tube: This is a small design of this application. The medium could be pressed by the high pressure out of the kettle to the lower pressure pipeline. Burst disc: The burst disc is another safety instrument for the reactor. It could break and relief the pressure gas when the pressure inside kettle higher than the set up value. Constant pressure charging tank This tank is used to feeding the liquid medium into the kettle during the reaction is going on. Because of the high pressure inside kettle, the tank has to be with the same or high pressure , so that the liquid reactant could get inside kettle. |
