This is a scaled up vacuum distillation equipment from a lab reactor. All parts of the equipment are accordinly enlarged from the prototype.
1, PID explosion-proof intelligent controller with a controllable and adjustable (frequency control, motor current display, temperature display, heating temperature control) temperature control accuracy of ± 1 ℃.
2, a magnetic coupler, with an explosion-proof motor.
3、With an explosion-proof electric heater, heat conduction oil is supplied by the customer.
4, with kettle lid opening valve, vacuum gauge, explosion-proof platinum resistance (kettle temperature measurement as far as possible against the bottom), charging port with blind, discharge port with ball valve connected to the 50L tank, condensing port with a set of condensing device.

The vacuum reactor with 100L is the essential machinery for this equipment. The medium react inside its kettle after the charging and vacuum. The final product will be distilled at low pressure and to be collected in the collecting tanks. The remains of the medium is discharged to the under tank, and will be recycled in the future. Heating sytem:
- Type: Thermal oil bathed electric heating.
- The heating rods are injected fromt the bottom of jacket. The thermal oil inside the jacket will be heated by the rods to certain degree, and then the oil will transfer the heat to the reactant.
- Because the medium is flammable, so the heating rods are using explosion proof wire and cable case.
The heating feature is a critical feature for the distillation equipment. It could speed up the reaction. And it is also used to heat the mixture of reactant and product, so the distillation could be done.

Horizontal condenser:
- Heating exchange area: 10 sqm.
- Structure: Shell and tube type.
- Material: stainless steel s304.
- Installation: Flange assembled. The flange joint design, the condenser is availabe to remove and changable whenever it is necessary.
- Advantage:
The condenser is another important part for this distillation equipment. It is used to seperate the product from the reactants. It will cool down the product vapor and make it to liquid. The the liquid product will flow down to the collect tank.

PID controller.
- The intelliegent controller is another important tools for the distillation equipment. Due to the long period of reaction, it is impossible for operator to keep watching the gauges and operate the heating process.
- The PID controller could set the operator free of the intense monitoring action. The heating processes could be programmed in advance. It will turn on/off and runing for certain time automaticly when the signal of set up temperature sent by the thermometer.
- Besides the temperature, it could also control the stirring speed, the on/off of the valves, the pumps, etc.
So, the application of the PID controller could make the automation of distillation processes come ture. |
Principle of Decompression Distillation equipment:
Decompression distillation equipment is using a method that separates a liquid mixture primarily by reducing the pressure in a distillation system.
Compared to different distillation methods, reduced pressure distillation has several advantages:
1. Reducing the boiling point of the material: decompression distillation reduces the boiling point of the liquid. So that the high boiling point of the material in a relatively low temperature can be boiled separately, thereby reducing the output of heat, and reducing energy consumption.
