The agitator is an essential part for the stirred batch reactor. It consists of motor, coupler, stirring shaft, bladee, etc. It is used for the stirring purpose for the medium inside the kettle. To achieve a uniform mixture of the medium, there are a lot of specifications of the agitator for option. For this 200L batch reactor, the strirring speed required is 0 to 200 RPM, and the medium is liquid. So, we applied two layer paddle styple blades, with the driving motor power of 3KW. Reducer: The reducer is needed to make sure the stirring speed limited to 200 RPM when the motor is turning on. It is an important part for the agitator to offer enough torque for the stirring. |
| Reaction Vessel: Thickness: The thickness of the vessel wall is designed to withstand the pressure of 8 Mpa, while the work pressure is only 5 Mpa. So, the 3 Mpa difference between design pressure and work pressure can make the vessel run safely. Cladding plate: The material of the vessel contacting medium is SS 316L, which with a high corrosion resistance. The material of the external wall of the vessel is Q345R, which offers good rigidity. So, the material of the vessel is SS31603+ Q345R cladding plate. |
