| Kettle: Kettle cylinder thickness: 4mm. We caculated the thickness on the basis of maximum pressure and the negative pressure at 150°C, then choose the larger one. Heating jacket: The heating jacket is design to heat the medium up to 150°C. Because of the existing of vacuum, the boiling point of medium is lower than 100°C, so it offers a big allowrance on temperature of the distillation process. Insulation jacket: The insulation jacket could prevent the heat releasing of the kettle caused by the air effecting. On the other hand, it could pretect the operator from high temperature hazard too. |
Vacuum pump and vacuum port: The vaccum pump is choosen as per the volume, gas property, work pressure, and the back pressure at discharge outlet. In this case, the volume is only 1L, vacuum gas is air, back pressure is ATM, so a comment vaccum pump would be enough for this application. Vacuum port size: DN4. Negative pressure gauge: It is used to monitor the value of vacuum. The vacuum process could be stopped when the vacuum value meets requirement. |

| Vertical distillation column: This heat exchange area is designated by customer. Then we design its size as per the area. The vertical postion help the refluxing of the medium, which could ensure the fine distillation Drip tank: The drip tank is designed on the basis of the maximum pressure and negative pressure , temperature, and its' size. So, it could charge the liquid medium after the valve bellow it opens. |
PID controller: The vacuum distillation requires accurate control. So the intelligent controller is used for this application. It could control the timing of dripping, vacuum, and heating on a very precise level. |
