Precautions for Laboratory Reactors

By sunny October 29th, 2026 12 views
What should be noted when using a laboratory reactor? Let's take a look at the following points:

1. The reactor should be placed indoors. When installing multiple reactors, they should be positioned separately. Each operating room must have an exit directly leading to the outside or a passageway, ensuring good ventilation at the equipment location.

2. When installing the lid of a laboratory magnetic drive reactor, avoid any impact between the sealing surfaces of the reactor body and the lid. Carefully place the lid onto the reactor body in its designated position. When tightening the main nut, do so gradually in several steps, diagonally and symmetrically. Apply even force; never allow the reactor lid to tilt to one side to ensure effective sealing.

3. At the connection point of the double-nut assembly, only rotate the outer and inner nuts—never rotate the two arc-shaped sealing surfaces against each other. All threaded connections should be lubricated during installation. The needle valve uses a linear seal; simply gently turn the valve needle to compress the sealing surface for a tight seal. Manually rotate the rotating component on the high-pressure magnetic drive reactor to check that it operates smoothly.
